In 1988, Mao Ishikawa met several girls coming from the Philippines in Okinawa. She became familiar with these girls and decided to know them more by going to the Philippines. There, she photographed their lives and families. The photobook also shows pictures she took in Okinawa of these Philippines women with the american G.I.s.
This is the second book of the photographer and probably the more difficult to get after the famous Camp hansen.
