Photographer Jean-François Spricigo chases the horizon whenever he can, has an unconditional love for nature and animals and cannot reconcile himself with the fickleness of the species to which he belongs: "I take photographs for the same reason a bird beats its wings – so it doesn't fall down".
Toujours l’aurore takes on several different forms, a kaleidoscope within the same gaze, making clear the fragmentary nature of any creative pursuit. This aesthetic is borne from honesty, an admission of his need when faced with reality to be himself, and yet to live this reality to the full through oneself: "I have never sought to capture or frame the world around me, he continues. On the contrary, it's the pulsation of the moment that motivates me. Whether in focus or not, the 'clarity' of an image is principally linked to the full scope of its process.
