This photobook was published in 1979 to celebrate UNESCO’s International Year of the Child. Thea Segall black and white photographs document kids from various parts of Venezuela. Efrain Subero selected text by Venezuelan writers and poets to go with the photographs. The book was designed by Alvaro Sotillo, one of the most interesting and influential graphic designers from Latin America. He juxtaposes square cropped photographs of the children's faces on the left, arranged in different ways, with an uncropped picture and text on the right page.
