As Jean Claude Gautrand and Günes Karabada in France during mai 68, José Marques was interested in social movement of his country. José Marques unlike for the other two, was more focused on slogans and graffiti. Between May and June 1974, in Lisbon, he devoted himself to picturing theses as "They remain there with their lyricism, their aggressiveness, their hope, their naivety, their hatred, their humour, their revolutionary firmness". This album portrays, "a living reflection of our political consciousness, of our non-conformism, of our yearning for freedom in the midst of oppression".
