This book recollects the work of major Japanese photographers such as Shigeichi Nagano and their photographs of political protest. We follow 30 days of student protest in the summer of 1960. This led to the death a female student of Tokyo University, Michiko Kanba. These protests were arisen by the treaty made between Japan and the USA, soon becoming a revolt against the government and for democracy. 

Illustrated softcover, b&w photographs, 25,5 x 18 cm. Traces of use, especially on the cover and the spine, handwritten notes on the text at the end of the book (see the last picture), discoloration of paper, in fair condition. Text in Japanese.
