The images show Blossfeldt's ability to see art in the pure abstraction of nature. At one and the same time very artful but also an example of the "Neue Sachclichkeit" (new sobriety) in art and photography of the 20s and early 30s

Hardcover under dust jacket, 25 x 32 cm, Third edition. In good condition, traces of use and discolorations. The dust jacket is in fair condition with missing chips, tearing as well as discolorations but present. Beautifully printed.
