This is one of the best book devoted to the erotic photographs and photomontages of Pierre Molinier.

Pierre Molinier was an accomplished painter before the turned to photography having been a part of the Surrealist movement and a close friend of Andre Breton. He has said that he did not think of himself primarily as a photographer but as an artist who fully realized his vision through photography.

Black linen hardcover without dust jacket as issued, 220 x 145 mm. First edition, 1979. Black & white photographs. Text in french. Copy in very good condition other than traces of use on the cover.
