"In Today's News" is a series by Kaamna Patel wherein she appropriates images from print media to comment on a number of topics. This first volume, called "Alpha Males & Women Power" uses images from print media in India to comment on prevalent patriarches and pre-determined gender roles.

Using the semiotics of images, "In Today's News" attempts to reveal the dominant ideology of a people at a particular time in their history, while leaving room for the reader to uncover thier own biases that may be informed, consciously or subconsciously, by this ideological structure.

Self-bound, Hard cover, open spine, color's offset printing in India, uncoated paper. Edition numbered and signed to 300 copies.
