This picture gallery features atmospheric images of London streets in the 1930s, before the Blitz, before the clean air act, before sodium lighting. It was a city of gloomy back streets lit by dim lamps, with forbidding alleys and the occasional welcoming light.
Hardcover with illustrated dust jacket, 252 mm × 317 mm. Inside in very good condition other than little foxing and marks on some prints (see picture). Dust jacket in good condition, with pencil marks one both front and back, and tears at the back. Text in English.
