For three generations the Fukases were photographers and had a photography studio in a small provincial town in northern Japan.
Family opens up with a photo of this very studio and the next 31 images are family portraits taken inside of that studio. The images are taken in chronological order and features an extensive autobiography written by Masahisa himself.
