The city of Hong Kong is always one of the main characters in Chan Wai-Kwong’s photographs. Faces, mouths, arms and other body parts, dogs, cats, cars, concrete, metal, and even colors flash by in his (mostly black-and-white) series “Hong Kong Summer: Double Suicide,” with each individual photo both part of a larger story and an entrance to its own little world.
