Evocative black-and-white images of the streets of Europe taken between 1989 and 1993, a personal travelogue which does not easily yeild its destination to the reader. Featuring stray dogs street scenes architectural details and still lifes the grainy high-contrast nearly abstract work suggests the fleeting nature of travel and the stolen moments that collectively comprise lived experience (see Parr-Badger vol.3).The photographic prints were xeroxed, then offset printed - suggesting an obsessive desire to recover lost experiences.
