These are photos of friends and family and things I liked in 2003.

Here you see Sofia's friends and family. They are people I have never met and have never known. But I feel close to the faces in her photographs. Why is that ? I think it is probably because these pictures not only reflect relationships between specific people, but also exist in their own independent state as an act of 'photography' in and of itself. Does this sound too critical ? I am sorry. It is not my job. Spike, Roman, Mom, Stephanie, they all look so sweet. This is good, yes, they are wonderful.

A collection of fifteen intimate color images of friends and family (including mother Eleanor, brother Roman, niece Gia, then-husband Spike Jonze, Kirsten Dunst, Marc Jacobs, Jason Schwartzman, etc.) taken by noted director Sofia Coppola. Published only in Japan, it includes a brief text by her frequent collaborator, photographer Takashi Homma. 

Softcover, 14 x 18 cm, color photographs. First edition. In good condition, some light stains and a small mark on the cover (see picture). RARE
