This is the first complete book on the work of Chilean photographer Sergio Larrain, published under the direction of Agnès Sire. It highlights his unique approach and his mythical images of Valparaiso, Chile, Bolivia, London and Paris, which inspired a whole generation of photographers.
This book is divided into two main axes: Latin America and Europe. A selection of over 200 photographs, supported by a detailed biography of important letters, drawings, artist’s notebooks and a few meditative texts in his handwriting immerse us in the world of this extraordinary and little-known artist.
Winner of the Prize Krasna-Krausz 2014
