Milena Villalon offers an intimate and unique artist's book. The photographs, which are screenshots from the recordings that her father took during her childhood, show mostly scenes of her daily life where glimpses of her mother and grandmother appear as blurry memories. Like paintings, we see the old house, the streets of the village, shoulders, legs, shoes.

According to the artists' own words, this poetic work is intended above all to evoke how childhood shapes our subconscious and how we retain certain moments in our memory without dictating them.

While the image is the main medium, we find some of her texts, set phrases by her grandfather, fragments, memories, excerpts and even assemblages, all interwoven with her unpublished pastel drawings.
