From the editor: "Black Passport is the biography of the life of war photographer Stanley Greene. It shows Greene’s war images alternated with private images. The viewer makes acquaintance with Stanley’s friends, his wife (later ex-wife), his female friends and his colleagues. Just as Greene himself, the viewer experiences being tossed to and from between the safe western life and the horrors of wars elsewhere. What effect does this work – the confrontation with horrors – have on his character? How does it influence his relationships, his loved ones and friends?"

Softcover with obi, 22.5 x 17 cm. Original edition, English language. B&W photographs and colors. The book is in a very good condition other than little wear on the obi and a small scratches on the spine. Inscribed by Stanley Green to Bernard Lebrun a documentary photographer in 2010. With an extra postcard also inscribed to him, and inscribed as well by the famous designer Teun Van de Heijden (who beautifully designed this book) to Bernard Lebrun
