PROGRAMME ARLES: RETROUVEZ NOUS DANS 2 LIEUX: ENCREMARKET ET L'ETAGE

Nous serons à nouveau présents au Festival de la photographie d'Arles cette année, du 6 au 12 juillet.

Au programme cette année il y aura tout d'abord une expostion à l'ETAGE des photographies d'Antoine d'Agata et de sa série "Situations" que l'on peut retrouver dans l'ouvrage publié par la galerie Rathole au Japon en 2007, ainsi que des photographies de Martin Bogren réalisés au Japon avec le lancement de son tout nouveau livre Kodo publié aux éditions de La Maindonne. L'univers de ses deux photographes à priori opposés entre rugosité et douceur se rejoigne neanmoins dans leurs approches photographique, transformant les scènes se jouant devant eux pour les mystifier. D'autres éditions rares des deux photographes seront également en vente.

Tout d’abord, l’exposition « HARD COPY ARLES », organisée par David Campany, Aaron Stern et Le Plac’Art Photo, présentera les œuvres de nombreux artistes de renom.

Elle servira également d’espace d’expérimentation et de production de livres d’artistes et de fanzines, avec la participation de Sergej Vutuc et George Both Cole.

Enfin, un marché de fanzines sera organisé à l’extérieur du magasin.

This year’s programme will feature, first and foremost, an exhibition of photographs by Antoine d’Agata and his ‘Situations’ series, which can be found in the book published by the Rathole Gallery in Japan in 2007. There will also be photographs by Martin Bogren taken in Japan, to coincide with the launch of his brand-new book Kodo, published by Éditions de La Maindonne.

The worlds of these two photographers – seemingly polar opposites, oscillating between roughness and softness – nevertheless converge in their photographic approaches, transforming the scenes unfolding before them to lend them an air of mystery.

Other rare editions by the two photographers will also be on sale.

First, the HARD COPY ARLES exhibition, curated by David Campany, Aaron Stern, and Le Plac'Art Photo, will showcase the work of numerous renowned artists.

It will also serve as a space for experimentation and the production of artist books and fanzines, with the participation of Sergej Vutuc and George Both Cole.

And finally, there will be a zine market outside the store.
