"I often wonder what my life might have been like had I lived in a different place over the past fifteen years or, similarly, had my parents chosen another path for their own lives. Would it all be different or are we built to be a certain person from birth?

"Horizon Avenue captures a narrative of a life that might have been. Intertwined with my overarching theme throughout all my work of loss, love and how they relate to landscape - in our minds and around us." — Aaron Stern
