Infinito is one of the most interesting photobooks published in Spain over the past decade. On the 10th anniversary of its publication, our intention is to recover and recognize it as one of the essential books to any well stocked library.
In Infinito one notices immediately the language of poetry: we find images inviting us to establish a relationship between them but their rhythm or equivalence is a priori veiled to us. Their significance is not given to the spectator straightaway. It is only later on, after a detailed observation, that we realize that the ambiguity of the images is due to an internal play allowing interpretations in different dimensions.
Hardcover, 240 x 175 mm. First edition, 2000. Black & white photographs. Design by David Jiménez. Included in The Photobook by Parr & Badger, vol. III. In very good condition.
