Amazing and mysterious japanese photo book from the late 1960's Japanese underground, a lysergic pictorial inspired by Baudelaire's Les Fleurs du Mal. It features a cast of female characters, predominantly nude, in warped, theatrical poses, deployed in collaged images with graphic embellishments.

The work also featured in cult 1968 Japanese horror film Blind Beast, directed by Yasuzo Masumura

Hardcover with title stamped in gilt in a black board slipcase with gilt stamping. First edition, 1968. Text in Japanese with poem in french by Charles Baudelaire. Some scratches on slipcase. Copy in good condition with an impressive gravure printing !
