LA NUMÉRISATION TUE L'IMAGE (Edt of 50)
Photographs: Morgane Bartoli
Publisher: Objet papier
44 pages
Year: 2017

Third release of the label, La numérisation tue l'image questions our relationship to technology and reproduction material. She unearths and hijacks this distant pictorial memory, this warning “Danger: photocopying kills the book” that was thought to be confined to classrooms and other documentation centers. By demonstrating about 40 scans and partially destroying an image, editing requires reflection on the evolution of publication methods, from the printed book to the screen.
