To catch the light before it vanishes and is forgotten, I continue to release the shutter.
Such delights fill my heart with light.
There may be no surprise, but I want to forever stay myself, who can find delights in ordinary sceneries.
want to gaze into the other side of the border, which is beautiful and awesome, while embraced by the great seasonal light.
Somewhere around the border between human lives and the nature, that is the world I want to see.
Neither urban areas nor untouched wilderness.

PINE TREE BOOKS is the self-publishing label of Hiroki Matsui.

With the objective of self-publishing photo book, I have started up a label because I want the production process to be fun. I may not be able to make a commercial-level deluxe photo book, but I think enjoy both the freedom and the anguish of self-publishing.

Illustrated hardcover, oblong size, 22,6 x 27cm, colors photographs. Limited edition of 350 copies. Signed by Hiroki Matsui. Rare first edition before the second soft cover edition published in a small running edition of 100ex.
