Life after Second World War in Okinawa : these photographs capture the japanese inhabitants living side by side with the american military bases, people demonstrating against the American occupation, creating pacific movements. A map of the Ryukyu Islands introduces us to this protest photobook which set right before the Constitution of Okinawa in 1972.

Softcover under dust jacket, obi is missing, 260 x 180 mm. First edition, 1970. Gravure printing. Black & white photographs. Some wear. Binding is fine. Some tiny stains but inside is clean mostly. Reproductions very well preserved. Scarce copy.
