This book recalls and illustrates the events that took place during the Thai Protest of 1973 (year B.E. 2516 in Thai). It evokes the people's victory on the 14th and 15th of October. Indeed, the uprising resulted in the end of the ruling military dictatorship of anti-communist Thanom Kittikachorn and the creation of the Thai constitution. The protest highlighted the growing influence of Thai university students in politics. They took actions in June 1973, by boycotting Japanese imported goods, and gained a reputation for being on the side of the people, helping to turn middle-class opinion against the military government. 

Softcover, 25,8 x 18,8 cm, first edition. In fair condition, traces of use on the cover, the spine of the book has been replaced to ensure its resistance, a few pages are torn, discoloration of the paper and bent pages, especially the folding maps. Krung Siam printing.
