A boisterous series of images shot by Kishi Shinoyama during Carnival time in Rio de Janeiro, Olele Olala is a playful celebration of hedonistic pleasures. Originally commissioned by Hitachi Corps (which explains the sporadic pleasure of the company's electric shavers in many of the images), Olele Olala remains an important and influential photobook, predating Shinoyama's well-known later works. - Hareta Hi (A Fine day), 1975, The Meaning of the House, 1975 and Paris, 1977.
