"I always wonder how long a life lasts
And how fragile it is

I wonder where what doesn't arrive goes
Where those dreams and plans to be fulfilled remain

When all that goes away, something breaks
Reality fractures
And then I think about what is lost with the loss 
And what hurts

What do I do with that last chance that has been lost 
Where do I put it

And I find myself standing there, sitting, lying down, sweaty, frustrated, sad, without hope
Living the grief of grief in the midst of tropical humidity
Hurting for what will never be
Hurting for what was not
What will never come

Instead, the rains will come
They will calm this suffocating heat
And they will calm this silent grief"

Softcover, 13 x 18 cm. Book cover made of Mexican amate paper, handmade from bark and plant fibres. Inside pages made of 90 gsm astroparche paper, 110 gsm plant paper and Japanese paper. The book contains embroidery, drawings and handwritten text. Silkscreen by Vazquez Corro and Risography Lamaquinucha Ediciones, Oaxaca. Handbound by Encuadernacion_elalmadellibro in Oaxaca, Mexico. Limited edition of 21 copies, numbered, signed. In very good condition with some signs of wear.
