Through time, two figures in a room. Red room, red time, pale figures, male and female, doing drugs, making love. But what do the verbs "to do" and "to make" mean here? Who are the subjects in action and what are they producing? What's taking place, what's happening - and to whom? In the red frame, do the male - whose name is A - and the female - whose name is Linh - appear as subjects, as agents or actors, as the room slides through times? Aren't their figures blurred, erased, as if acted upon by forces stronger than the will to control what the body does? Fuelled by drugs, love-making. And love-making as a way to feed the hunger of drugs. In the red room of time, taking drugs, having sex, Linh and A are nothing but name's without substance, without subjects, names that do not name either the male or the female but rather something which is happening between them, through them, moving their bodies in order to entangle, them first, then separate them, then entangle them again. Two names for one thing only, something which is not a thing but a force breaking through both Linh and A. Making their figures move as bodies with a will of their own: a will to be named, a will to name what they want, what desire make them do, what desire's addiction does to the body.
