In everyday life, the smooth surfaces of our roads often go unnoticed, yet they tell a fascinating story of erosion, time and passage.
This book, limited to ten numbered copies, invites the reader to discover these often invisible details. Printed on metallic Hahnemuhle paper and bound in leporello style, these photographs capture the cracks, deformations and nuances left by wear and tear.
More than just an observation, this series of images seeks to open up a space for imagination. Everyone can see what they want to see, perceive personal shapes or figures, and let their thoughts wander.
These landscapes of decay then become poetic elements, open to multiple interpretations.
May these images invite you to slow down, look closer, and rediscover the silent beauty that often hides in the ephemeral and imperfect ashes of our everyday environment.
