A series of poetic photographs taken in Mexico with a 6 by 6 camera  made by using a very special technique...

Le format photographique 6*6 enferme un cercle dans un carré. Le cercle touche les quatre côtés intérieurs du carré. Son diamètre est égal au côté du carré... Dans cette série du Gyroscope humain, des cercles et des disques sont enfermés dans le cercle invisible qui se tient dans le carré de la photographie: la roue de la mort, le fond de la bassine de métal, le poudrier de la jeune prostituée, le miroir désolé. Des cercles dans beaucoup de murs. Il y a les grillages de la frontière de Ciudad Juarez, évidents, mais il y a aussi les murs invisibles à première vue, lesmurs mentaux, que chacun porte en soi: ceux du renoncement à la liberté, ceux du rêve corrompu. Qui en réchappe de moment en moment tombe, un jour, dans le carré d'une autre prison. Prison de ferraille. Prison de brouillard...

Illustrated soft cover on d'Ixtle paper with pictures embossed, sawed, photogravure from the silver gelatin made by Araceli Pérez. Translation by Lucrecia Orensanz. 70 copies on revolution paper signed and numbered by the artist. A special edition with print is also available (400E). The first 35 copies comes with an original silver gelatin print (more informations on demand).
