Samuel Bollendorff's essay on colour is based on Kandinsky's lectures at the Bauhaus. In these scenes of Tokyo life, he looks for laws of tension and chromatic codes, the result of an inner need. The resonance of colours, inviting us to dream of an encounter. Each line is tension, each colour asserts its dynamism, and their overall harmony constitutes the aesthetic argument.
