Invisible Cities captures the uncanny and how it manifests through the process of layering, re-appropriation and dismantling of imagery. Initially imagined as a book constituted of super8 stills, following the limitation of the upward and downward gaze only, Invisible Cities evolved into an exercise of gathering and concentrating. With the moving image as the basis for its motivation, the accompanying imagery attaches various modes of practice some of which include illustration, scanning, collage, image transfer and sculpture.
