"The sex industry in Japan is divided into various categories, ranging from more subtle to more explicit sectors, and it is more easily accessible than in Europe. I previously worked in such industries to fund my art studies. While it was a lucrative job, many of us experienced a sense of fatigue, both physically and mentally. In my earlier publication, "Bodies that Shed Tears," I sought to visualise the exhaustion and pain through the transformation of photos of sex workers.

This publication, "Tachinbo, " serves as a sequel to "Bodies that Shed Tears. " The term "tachinbo" refers to prostitutes who solicit customers on the street in the Japanese language."
