Barry Kay was an Australian stage and costume designer with access to Sydney's transgender community. These are photographs he took of transvestite and transgender women in their private spaces, at home, with friends, at work, going about their daily lives. These portraits were made between 1974 and 1975.
Softcover, 29,7 x 21,4 cm, b&w photographs. First edition. Lining is fragile. In good condition.
