In this book, Gilles Peress gives an overview of the Iranian post-revolutionnary situation. Getting money from the National Endowment for the Arts, he flew to Iran and photographed what he saw, experienced, and felt during a five-week period, from December 1979 through January 1980.

 

Illustrated softcover, 38,8 cm x 27 cm. Original edition. Ref Parr & Badger Vol 2 p253. Text in English, with an essay by Gholam Hossein Sa'edi. In very good condition other than a dent on the upper part of the spine. The copy is protected in a handmade box.
