The images in this scarce 1981 Araki book were all taken with an Ikonta camera (pictured on the dust jacket) from his father's collection. On many of the pages the 2 1/4 inch frames are reproduced in a grid layout, emphasizing the sequential nature of Araki's working process and giving the whole a cinematic feel. With its stupendous jacket design, this uncommon book that deserves a place among the handful of essential Araki titles.

Hardcover under dust jacket, 270 x 220 mm. Obi is missing. First edition, 1981. Black & white photographs. Text in japanese. In very good condition.
