ARAMAME is the result of a collaboration between photographer Nobuyoshi Araki and Japanese fashion brand mame. Instead of producing ordinary lookbook, designer Maiko Kurogouchi asked Araki to portray the brand’s seasonal fashion with his typical eye for the erotic. Surpassing the confines of an ordinary fashion book, the images in the photobook were created by taping together positives from the photoshoot with photos Araki has shot of peculiar little arrangements - of flowers, sex toys and puppets.
