Ghosts is not an exercise in nostalgia. It recovers, selects and rebuilds the images of faces as if they were a deck of life's cards. It grabs the essential in them and shapes them to form an existence constantly on the move. Franck Landron's self-portraits unfold in a subjective time scale where past and present, the different ages of life, history and memory advance together. They confront us. Let's look at them from our own myriad faces, of those present, of those absent and those which they succeed in bringing back to us.
