Le voyage mexicain évoque le parcours du photographe Bernard Plossu au Mexique durant les deux années (1965 et 1966) au cours desquelles il a immortalisé la route, le voyage, l’errance, la recherche des autres, les sensations de liberté. Il y brosse un pays rêvé pour toute la génération beatnik. Ce périple dont les images furent publiées dans l’emblématique Voyage mexicain publié aux éditions Contrejour (1979), s’est imposé dans le monde de la photographie comme un témoignage d’une force et d’une poésie exceptionnelles.
